Hi Sweet Friend!

How are you feeling today?  I have been thinking about you and praying for you non-stop. Today, I was among several that fasted for you.  I was reading a bible study by Jack Hayford talking about fasting. He said that in the bible, fasting was used on several occasions for urgent need. I honestly believe that God is working through many people on many different levels to urgently deliver you from this disease and heal you completely.  The PET Scan, the quick entry into the MD Anderson system, the immediate availability of doctors, your incredible team of doctors and associates through SE Memorial, and now, the call to fast and pray and so many people answering that call. What an amazing love from an amazing God. Nothing is too hard for God, not even this, yet He calls out an "army" of family, friends, and doctors and healthcare professionals to go to work immediately and with urgency for your healing.  Even more amazing is how so many stopped and listened and obeyed.   How often in our day to day lives do we hear that "still small voice" and never even lift our heads much less bow them in acknowledgment that God thinks enough of us to speak to us. It's so easy to forget that He not only thinks of us from time to time, but He loves us so much that He sent His only son to die in our place and then He sent his Holy Spirit so we would never be alone. He loves you so very much Kathy. I know that throughout the bible, God has many names. But for you, at this moment, I see Him as a Father,  hovering over His child, calling His people to fast and pray and minister and nurse His precious daughter back to complete health.  He doesn't need us to do that.  He could wave His hand and this would be done. But just maybe you would never realize just how much you are loved and cared for by everyone around you here and by friends and family all over the world. And... just maybe He is reminding us all to listen to that still, small voice, to get on our knees a little more often, that there is power in prayer, and most importantly, that the greatest of all gifts is love.  I love you my sweet friend. I am thanking God now for your healing and looking forward to your great victory.
